Big, bulky, and block-headed—Gunter is a gentle giant with a personality as large as his body! Coming in at 97 lbs and 9 years of age, this beast of a dog is nothing more than a massive snuggle buddy. He's lovable, laid-back, and low-maintenance. He doesn't want much, just a family to love him, a nice comfy bed for his older bones, some fun toys to chew on, and some enjoyable walks with his friends. Now just because he's 9 years old, doesn't mean he acts like a senior though. This boy has plenty of energy, especially at play time! And he is STRONG, so he will need an adopter equipped to handle a dog that definitely hit the gym in his younger years. He does require a joint supplement (carrying around such a big body definitely takes its toll on the ol' hips!), and we recommend a senior multivitamin and high quality food to help keep him healthy as he lives out the many grand years ahead of him!
