Bama

Little Baby Bama (not so little and not quite a baby anymore) came to us a mess. Barely a few months old, emaciated, missing hair, with a red blood cell count so low he almost needed a blood transfusion—he’s proved that just because you’re small, doesn’t mean you can’t be strong. Bama has a will to live like no other. Even at his worst, he’s always been a happy, and talkative boy. Now, he’s all healthy, over 50 lbs, and ready to take on the world! He’s always on the search for a job, even if that job is just lounging around with his best friends! Out for an adventure? Count Bama in! Chilling inside for the day? He'll gladly join you! He's ready for any fun activity you might have planned. Though he can be a bit rambunctious at times, he's been great with meeting human friends of all sizes and even tries to be as gentle as possible with the tiny ones. As for his dog friends? Well, they'll need to be as tough as nails when playing with Bama with his rough and rowdy play style. He still isn't too sure about cats—some of them are pretty intimidating with how they hiss and swat—so he would do best in a home with no feline friends.

Using his nose, he’s sniffed out a perfect opportunity to rise from his tragic beginning and show everyone that you aren’t defined by your past, only by what you make of your future. Now all he needs is you!
